Job Title: Treasury & Risk Accountant

Location: Nigeria
Reports directly to: The Financial Controller

Role Summary
The purpose of this position is to manage the company’s long term and short term investment strategies as well as identifying exposures and recommending strategies to minimize risk or loss. The role is responsible for:

• Assessing, monitoring, planning and managing the efficient utilization of funds in a manner consistent with the objectives of the company.
• Forecasting daily cash requirements and executing daily financing decisions.
• Managing all aspects of in-house investment portfolios.
• Reviewing and recommending changes to the investment policies based on the market conditions.

Essential Qualification

• BA, BSc./HND in a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a finance function.
• Current accounting certifications (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is an added advantage.
