We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Old and new client for RFQ generating.
• Receives and processes Requests for Quotation (RFQ), RFPs, BIDs and TENDERS from E & P Clients (Such as Chevron, ExxonMobil, Total, Saipem, Addax, etc.)
• Obtain quotes from suppliers/ OEMs, prepare and submit quotations to clients/End users.
• Follow up on all submitted RFQs, RFPs, BIDs/ POs issued. Receives and processes Purchase Orders (PO) from clients Establishes initial contact with suppliers/OEMs to ascertain the acknowledgement of purchase order.
• Establishes supply chain procedures for requisition, processing, validation, payment, delivery and invoicing.
• Liaises with field staff and clients to generate RFQs
• Maintain a comprehensive filing system and Document Control
• Obtain shipping arrangement from supplier/OEM depending on the quoted delivery terms (Based on INCOTERMS).
• Liaise with third party Freight Forwarder and clearing agent to ensure M&E are shipped and cleared for onward delivery to designated project site/warehouse.
• Ensures Procured items are delivered to the appropriate destinations.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Excellent command of written and oral English language.
• B.Eng/B.Tech/HND in any Engineering field from a reputable institution.
• Computer proficiency ( Ms Word & Ms Excel). Knowledge of SAP and ERP will be an added advantage.
• Must be residing in Lagos.
