Job Position: Video Editor
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished, engaging videos that align with our brand and communication goals. 
• You will work closely with our creative, marketing, and production teams to bring compelling stories to life across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality content for digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media, ads, website).
• Collaborate with producers, designers, and other team members to understand project scope and deliverables.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, music, voiceovers, and effects to enhance storytelling.
• Maintain a clear understanding of branding and style guidelines for consistent visual output.
• Manage and organize media assets and backups efficiently.
• Stay up to date with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.
• Ensure all edits are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in a related field.
• Proven experience as a video editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of video formats, compression techniques, and digital media standards.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing recent work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus.
• Knowledge of color grading and sound editing.
• Familiarity with camera equipment and on-set production workflows.

Salary
N100,000 - N130,000 / Month.
