Job Position: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary


  • The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of renewable energy equipment and materials.
  • This role ensures that all warehouse activities comply with safety, quality, and operational standards to support smooth field operations and project deployment.
  • In the renewable energy sector, accuracy in handling sensitive solar components, batteries, and related gear is critical for timely installations and service delivery.

Main Functions & Responsibilities
Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate stock levels of solar panels, inverters, batteries, cabling, and tools.
  • Use inventory systems to track movements, returns, and reorder points.

Warehouse Operations Oversight:

  • Supervise daily operations: receiving, picking, packing, storing, and dispatching.
  • Implement efficient layout, storage procedures, and material flow systems.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all warehouse activities meet safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and ensure PPE compliance for staff.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and train warehouse staff.
  • Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to procedures.

Shipping & Receiving:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with transport and project teams.
  • Verify all deliveries and shipments against documentation.

Asset Tracking & Maintenance:

  • Maintain proper records and condition of warehouse equipment (forklifts, tools, etc.).
  • Ensure safe storage and handling of delicate and high-value renewable energy components.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain records for stock reconciliation, damage reports, and movement logs.
  • Generate daily/weekly inventory and operations reports for management.

Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risk of stock loss, theft or damage.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND with at least 1 year of experience.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
