Accounts Receivable Officer

We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accounts Receivable Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely collection of monies arising from sales and services
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Collect data and prepare monthly metrics
• Ensure that incoming payments are in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Carry out monthly reconciliation of customers' accounts

Basic Requirements

• Proven working experience as accounts receivable accountant
• 4-5 years experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer
• Minimum of B.Sc/HND Accounting
• Advanced degrees and relevant certifications will be an advantage
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
