Job Description: 


The general manager directs and coordinates activities of one or more departments, such as operations or sales, or a major division of the business organization and aids chief administrative officers in formulating and administering organization policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all divisional department activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
  • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning, including sales, financial performance and new product development.
  • Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis.
  • Reviews operations and plans to meet requirements for set goals
  • Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis for budgetary planning and implementation, financial reporting, budgetary planning and submittal for capital expenditures.
  • Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program. 
  • Sort Managers to meet goals and to help with their professional development. 
  • Responsible for interviewing lead and manager candidates.
  • Evaluate the results of the operation regularly and systematically reports findings to the General Manager.
  • Analyze, reorganize and prioritizes training and labor law compliance.
  • Ensure that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management or a closely related field
  • Good experience in administration
  • At least 2 years of experience as a manager or assistant manager
  • Demonstrable financial planning and strategy competence
  • Highly organized individual with excellent communication skills
  • Performance management skills

  • Proven financial planning skills
