Job Position: Head of Retail Operations
Job Location: Nigeria

Job Description

• Works with the CEO and other Heads of Department to influence the creation and communication of the company strategy and Business priorities
• Translates the company’s strategic goals into retail operational plans, to achieve growth in sales and profit
• Performs quarterly performance reviews for Direct Reports
• Develops operational processes in line with industry standards
• Builds a strong sales management and performance culture with the operations team, spends time coaching unit heads
• Maintains a strong business relationship with business partners i.e. Principals, Financial Institutions, while developing new relationships with potential partners
• With the CEO, develops and implements a retail expansion strategy and execution plan including site selection, store design and timelines
• Oversees the planning, development and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns
• Maintains awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
• Takes decisions on matters relating to day to day retail operations, within defined work area, including the strategic planning of resources
