A newly established multipurpose cooperative society, a CSR initiative of a downstream oil and gas company operating in Lagos area seeks exceptional individuals to fill the position below:

Job Description

• Reporting to the Chairman and Board of Trustees, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the cooperative society and ensuring attainment of strategic goals and targets.
• This role is for a seasoned and qualified professional with leadership skills in micro and cooperative financing with specific skills in joint business/group loans financing and correspondent relationships with commercial bank.

His/Her responsibilities shall be as follows:

• Developing new business and generating income to ensure the society’s growth, profitability, prosperity and sustainability,
• Managing and developing a high performance team, maintaining a positive and proactive working environment that encourages efficient team working
• Creating and leading the organization’s business strategies and programs.

Qualifications,Experience and Attributes

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance or any of the Management Sciences from a reputable institution. A quality MBA would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of B years cognate experience in a micro financial services or cooperative organization of which at least 4 years must be at senior level,
• Honest person with very high integrity and independence.
• Ideal age should be between 35-42 years
