Who we are
Code for Nigeria uses civic technology to empower citizens. We help citizens build digital democracies by giving them actionable information so they can make better-informed decisions. We use technology to boost active citizenry and evidence-based public discourse. As a subsidiary of the Pan-African body- Code for Africa, our programmes are consolidated.
Code for Africa (CFAfrica) is a non-profit, people-driven journalism and civic technology initiative. It is the umbrella for a series of national and/or thematic initiatives including Code for Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa. The Head Office is in Cape Town, South Africa, with projects in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Rwanda.
