Chosen Haulage Limited is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: KiriKiri, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibility

• Timely preparation of all management reports – Profit and loss, cash flow statement, Balance sheet.
• Cross-check all the entries in the various accounting books and financial statements ensuring all records are accurate and also adopt immediate measures to solve the accounting problem
• Ensuring the transparency and efficiency of the organization's financial operations and safeguarding compliance with reporting guidelines
• Settling the company records of accounting by determining the exact amounts payable as well as those pending for cash receiving
• Computing and remittance of tax
• Freight management and proper accounting for profits and loss.
• Preparing and submitting financial reports including weekly, monthly operating reports, financial statements, inventory, and capital purchases

Qualifications

• Degree / HND in Accounting with CPA or Accounting qualifications.
• 1 - 2 years experience in accounting department preferably logistics or transport sector (is an asset).
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation skills required.
• Excellent analytical skills, good trouble-shooter with the ability to multitask
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and QuickBooks for accounting or accounting software is an asset but not compulsory.
• Keen attention to details.
• Must live around KiriKiri, Mile-2, Festac, Maza-Maza, satellite town and Agor region.

Salary
N90,000 - N110,000 monthly.
