Job Description

• Accurately handle cash and electronic payments for purchases
• Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently.
• Properly bag and pack purchased items
• Process returns and exchanges following store policies and procedures.
• Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure all transactions are accurate.
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized
• Provide customers with receipts and explain return policies as needed.
• Good verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems
• Effective at managing multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Calm and composed under pressure, especially during peak shopping times.
• Honest, trustworthy, and responsible when handling cash.
• Basic understanding of supermarket products and their locations.
• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Accurately take customer orders
• Suggest additional items or combo meals to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong math skills
• Friendly and attentive to customer needs and inquiries.
• Ability to handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism.
• Physical Stamina.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE and OND
