Job Position: Electrical Engineer
Job Location: Oregun Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in the solar energy industry.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and solutions for solar power projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and layouts for solar PV installations (on-grid and off-grid).
• Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection.
• Supervise and coordinate the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and safety standards (NEC, IEC, etc.).
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and clients for smooth project execution.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and handover manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in solar power systems design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, charge controllers, batteries, and grid integration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar solar design software.
• Understanding of national and international electrical codes and standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

• Certification in Renewable Energy or Solar PV installation (e.g., NABCEP, SON) is an added advantage.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
