Job Position: Finance Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting / Finance
• Very good and proficient in the use of sage 50
• At least must be writing ican professional exam
• Knowledgeable in IFRS
• Must be able to meet deadlines with minimum supervision

Job Responsibilities

• Posting of financial transactions denominated in local currency on the accounting software.
• Posting of financial transactions relating to foreign vendors on the accounting software.
• Analysing salary schedule for the month and posting them on the accounting software
• Analyzing and posting of paye on a monthly basis for hq and shop staff on the accounting system
• Posting rent and other prepayment transaction on the accounting software and maintaining a schedule for that
• Reconcilliation of expenses on bank statement to ledger on a monthly basis
• Extraction of trial balance, statement of comprehensive income, statement of financial position, fixed asset schedule statement of changes in equity and notes to the fiancial statement.
• Disbursement of funds and consumables to company shop managerstoenable them run the shops on weekly basis.
• Disbursement of funds for refunds and offsetting of retirement during weekly funding for shop managers.
