Job Position: Hotel Accountant

Job Location: AMAC, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We're seeking a seasoned Hotel Accountant with a minimumof 6 years of experience in hotel accounting to manage our financial activities, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to our continued success.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Analyse financial data to optimize revenue and minimize expenses
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and hotel policies
• Conduct internal audits and implement controls to minimize expenses
• Supervise and train accouning team members
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Hotel Accountant
• Professional certificate (ACA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting software and systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable Qualification

• Experience with hospitality industry-specific accounting software
• Familiarity with Nigerian tax laws and regulations
• Previous experience in a similar role in Abuja.
