We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: HSE & HR Coordinator

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities


  • Responsible for overseeing the health, safety and environmental activities and compliance on GMC and other Projects
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all health, safety, and environmental activities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required. This will involve collaboration with the CSR / Site lead to get required information.
  • Coordinate and implement safety and other training programs for personnel as specified in GMC / Project training matrix. Regular update of training matrix required.
  • Responsible for personnel mobilization to site as per rotation schedule. Ensure flight tickets and other logistics required are promptly organized.
  • Responsible for the collation and processing of personnel timesheets
  • Responsible for the tracking and updating of all personnel professional certificates and offshore travelling documentation - BOSIET, Medical and OSP.
  • Responsible for PPE inventory, tracking, distribution etc
  • Collaborate with HR Manager on new personnel recruitment process - personnel sourcing, interviews, onboarding etc.
  • Keep and update personnel rotation schedule and ensure implementation
  • Manage all personnel databases and training matrix
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Contract / Project Manage

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Safety or related fields
  • 4 years of experience in HSE and/or. HR role
  • Strong planning and execution skills
  • Working knowledge of HSE laws and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Ability to coordinate hiring process
