Inventory Officer Job at Chanja Datti Recycling Co. Limited

Chanja Datti Recycling Co. Limited is a waste recovery and recycling social enterprise that currently collects waste plastic (PET bottles, pure water sachet, etc.) and other recyclables like aluminum cans, papers (old newspapers, old textbooks, cardboard, cartons etc.) and scraps and transforms them into pellets, flakes or bales, which are then supplied to off-takers/recyclers for use in the manufacture of various other products.


We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Inventory Officer
Job Location: Abuja (FCT) 

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a Recycling Hub Manager to run the affairs of our recycling hub.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hub and ensuring that the hub's collection is equal to the supply to the company from the hub.
  • They will also be responsible for receiving, measuring, and making payment for recyclables brought to the hub, opening accounts with Jaiz Bank for customers, reporting hub activities to the Head of Department, and sensitizing people in the community to sign up for recycling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the recycling hub.
  • Open accounts with Jaiz Bank for customers.
  • Report hub activities to the Head of Department.
  • Receive, measure and make payment for recyclables brought to the hub.
  • Ensure that the hub's collection is equal to the supply to the company from the hub. Sensitize people in the community to sign up for recycling.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Good knowledge of computer.
  • Ability to work from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and 10am to 2pm on Saturday.

Remuneration
N30,000 Monthly.
