We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Java Backend Engineer

Job Location: Nigeria

Core Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of software development from design to estimation to development and testing.
• Demonstrable Java programming/problem-solving skills.
• Develop, debug and build automated tests for various programming assignments
• Assist in Code reviews for other Engineers
• Been able to take ownership and lead projects
• Collaborate across engineers on best practices, tools and architectures

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working with large Java EE applications meant to be highly available and scalable.
• 2 years of experience building Android native apps
• Proficient in Java core 8+
• Familiarity with cloud technology (AWS, etc)
• Experience using Java EE frameworks like Hibernate and Spring
• Experience with Quarkus is a plus
• Experience with queue events frameworks is a plus (SQS or Kafka)
• Good knowledge of writing Android native applications
• Good control on the SQL and Non SQL databases like Mysql, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Document DB
• Proficient in Java core 8+.
