1.) Legal Associate

About the Role
- We are looking to hire a highly skilled Legal Associate with 2-4 years of experience.
- A successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal support and assistance to our Head of Legal on a broad spectrum of legal matters.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in legal research, drafting contracts, appeals, and other legal documents, and delivering sound legal counsel.
- Furthermore, the ideal candidate should exemplify unwavering reliability and integrity while consistently delivering exceptional work, even in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and refine legal documents—including contracts, agreements, internal policies, memoranda, and correspondence ensuring accuracy and full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor securities and payments regulatory environments across all operating markets and advise on implications for products and operations.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to deliver pragmatic, solutions-driven legal advice on new features, services, and technical implementations.
- Support market-entry legal workstreams, including regulatory analysis, entity formation, and preparation of materials for licensing applications.
- Assist with corporate secretarial tasks, maintain governance standards, and manage core corporate documentation.
- Advise on data protection and privacy laws (e.g., NDPR, GDPR) as they relate to products, users, and internal processes.
- Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, and emerging issues, delivering clear and concise analyses for decision-making.
- Track developments in local, federal, and international laws affecting Bamboo’s operations, guiding stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and proactive risk management.
- Maintain an organized system for legal records and produce reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the contract lifecycle by tracking key dates, milestones, and obligations, and coordinating with teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Participate in the negotiation and execution of agreements, offering commercial and legally sound recommendations.
- Provide general legal support to internal teams, address inquiries as they arise, and collaborate with external counsel when appropriate.
- Demonstrate strong understanding or interest in financial-services law, including securities, payments, AML/CFT, and data privacy, combined with a commercial, pragmatic mindset.
- Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers, while managing multiple projects with strong organization and attention to detail.

2.) Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

About the Role
- We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to monitor, inspect, and implement measures to improve Bamboo’s products and processes, ensuring they meet established quality standards.
- As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing testing strategies, identifying and resolving quality issues, and ensuring seamless integration within our testing framework.
- You will collaborate with engineering and product technical leads to develop a deep understanding of system architecture, define acceptance tests, and automate them to enhance efficiency.
- Additionally, you will track key quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to drive continuous improvement.
- You will lead efforts to ensure tests run smoothly and efficiently, directing broken tests to the responsible engineers for prompt resolution. Working alongside a team of QA analysts, you will optimize testing processes and contribute to improving the overall quality of engineering at Bamboo.

Responsibilities
What You will be doing:
- You will conceptualize appropriate acceptance tests and automate them within our integration testing framework.
- Perform manual & automated testing to ensure they are running smoothly and quickly. Also ensures that broken tests are rapidly directed to the responsible engineers for correction.
- Create test plans, test scripts, defect logs, and test summary reports for each project/feature.
- Maintain documentation of risk analysis, test cases, progress, and results
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Discover bugs within software and proactively identify infrastructural issues
- Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
- Develop customer-focused test plans; seldom requiring re-work
- Set up and maintain testing environments
- Perform complex test cases and maintain associated test records
- Proactively works with other team members as needed to resolve issues and meet project goals
- Identifies new ideas, tools, and process improvements to help the team meet objectives
- Uses customer understanding and knowledge of the relevant technologies to measure the quality of a better product/service
Who you are (Role Expectations)
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Quality assurance/ software test engineer in the fintech industry or on a consumer finance product.
- You have great knowledge of QA methodology, industry-standard testing, and bug-tracking tools
- You have experience in testing backend services such as APIs, Databases, and distributed services.
- Strong SQL testing and understanding of different SQL statements.
- You have experience with usability best practices; able to influence and improve user experience
- Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements, and testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. You have hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and others
- Strong Experience with compatibility and accessibility testing
- You have extensive experience in both manual and automation testing for mobile applications (iOS & Android), with strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. This includes hands-on experience using Appium for automation
- You’ve demonstrated a deep understanding of the testing pyramid and consistently write unit tests as well as higher-level tests in alignment with it. You ensure that all tests, including those for edge cases and errors, are written to handle scenarios gracefully.
- You approach all engineering work with a security-first mindset.
- You actively seek out security vulnerabilities within the codebase and during peer reviews.
- Your solid understanding of security threats enables you to integrate mitigation strategies from the planning phase through to execution.
- Nice to have: Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) Certification.
- You are a skilled communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences, and are known to articulate ideas and plans clearly, accurately, and effectively with all levels of internal and external audiences.

3.) Marketing Copywriter

About the Role
- We are looking for a Marketing Copywriter to help communicate the brand's values, products, and proposition across our marketing and product channels.
- In this role, you will be responsible for writing clear, engaging, concise copy for adverts, emails, publications, and websites to inform our target audiences.
- You will collaborate with marketing and design teams to create innovative storytelling experiences and contribute to user and revenue growth.

What you will be doing
- Write and edit persuasive and engaging copy for a variety of mediums, including websites, email campaigns, social media posts, advertisements, brochures, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with designers, strategy teams, and subject matter experts to write content that influences audiences across different media, including adverts, targeted email, web, social, and video.
- Work closely with designers, marketers, and other team members to ensure that copy complements visual elements and aligns with overall campaign objectives.
- Identify new content opportunities that stand out from competitors and align with content calendar activities to deliver powerful, relevant, and cohesive storytelling across all channels.
- Conduct research to understand target audiences, market trends, and industry best practices. Use insights to craft relevant and impactful messaging.
- Review and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness. Edit content as needed to enhance readability and effectiveness.
- Accept and incorporate feedback from senior team members, clients, or stakeholders to refine and improve copy.
