1.) Market Sales Representative

Job Location: Biu, Borno
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• He/she ensures wholesales, & retail customers in assigned open markets are served; and Saro Agrosciences products are always available & visible at the retail / wholesalers’ outlets in assigned open markets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares route plan & adhere to it strictly.
• Develop & maintain customer list that capture Name, Contact Person, Address, and Phone Numbers of customers in assigned markets.
• Sell company products to current & potential wholesale / retail outlets & customers.
• Deliver set targets on all sales KPIs- Call, IMS, Collection, Strike Rate, Average Order Size/Call etc.
• Ensure products are sold as communicated in official company price list in all sales outlets.
• Develop existing & new wholesale / retail customers to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, & annual volume / revenue targets.
• Ensures sales to customers are done on cash basis; and Cr. Limits are approved / adhered to where applicable.
• Report issues relating to / satisfaction of customers, & consumers in assigned markets.
• Assist in the development (information generation) and implementation of marketing plans regarding his / her assigned territory.
• Merchandize & execute products display initiatives leading to the desired visibilities for company brands in the retail outlets trade channels.

2.) Team Lead (Production) - Production Engineer

Job Location: Along Lagos Ibadan expressway. Close to Magboro or Mount of Fire Church - Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose

• The Team Lead (Production) supports the efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution of production operations by planning and monitoring manufacturing activities, optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and coordinating equipment maintenance to achieve production targets while driving continuous improvement.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Production Execution: Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules to meet volume and delivery targets.
• Process Optimization: Monitor production operations, identify equipment bottlenecks, and apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve yield. •
• Quality Assurance: Oversee chemical formulation processes and ensure all batches meet required standards for concentration, purity, and physical properties.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Ensure compliance with safety procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling of hazardous materials, and adherence to environmental regulations.
• Equipment & Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance team to execute routine and preventive maintenance on filling systems, capping machines, packaging lines, and chemical reactors.
• Team Support: Assist in supervising, monitoring, training, and supporting production operators and junior staff to ensure smooth plant operations.

Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree (minimum Second Class Upper) in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in similar role in a similar role
• Age Requirement: 27 – 32 Years

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications and production data management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of chemical manufacturing or formulation processes will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt in a production environment.

3.) Electrical Technician

Job Location: Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, near Magboro or Mountain of Fire Church, Ogun 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• The incumbent will ensure that production operations run as planned by providing engineering supervision and support for processing, packaging, and utilities.
• The incumbent will also ensure that equipment and machinery perform according to specified and recommended standards.
• The role involves ensuring that daily manufacturing volume targets are achieved within the specified time, with optimized resources and the required quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive the maintenance of herbicide formulation and filling-line machinery and equipment.
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Take responsibility for utility operations, ensuring smooth running and optimal efficiency.
• Apply mechanical, electrical, and general engineering troubleshooting skills to operate, monitor, maintain, report on, and sustain onsite utilities.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the cleanliness of equipment and the workplace.
• Ensure that appropriate documentation is in place and that technical teams comply fully with documentation requirements.
• Promote and uphold safety standards for oneself, others, equipment, and the general workplace.
• Track, record, analyse, and schedule routine maintenance and repairs in line with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and World Class Maintenance (WCM) standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, extraction and ventilation systems, and fire suppression systems and operations.
• Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve set goals.
• Demonstrate accountability for assigned tasks and strong attention to detail.
• Work effectively with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience

• PLC knowledge is mandatory. Candidates without PLC knowledge are advised not to apply.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience in an FMCG environment or in processing and filling-line operations.
• Minimum of an HND with Upper Credit in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation/Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field).
• Prior experience in an herbicide processing or packaging plant is an added advantage.
• Age Requirement: 28–35 years.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

• Knowledge of general maintenance mechanics.
• Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and industrial troubleshooting.
