O J Wale Pillars Metal and Tech Limited is a Nigerian-based Solar Energy Company that is focused on Providing sustainable uninterrupted alternative source of energy solutions for home and businesses across Nigeria and to ensure that it’s eco-friendly and totally free from noise pollution. Our source of energy ensures conservation of energy and quick power supply for immediate utilization for end users. O J Wale Pillars Metal and Tech Limited was registered on 24th of April 2015 with the Corporate Affairs Commission. However, we have been in the Solar energy business since 2010 (10 years ago), while Battery Hunters Limited as subsidiary was registered on 19th July, 2019.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Engineering / Technical Head

Job Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • Provide technical direction or support to installation and repair teams during solar installation, testing, system commissioning, repairs or performance monitoring
  • Create plans for solar energy system development, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation activities. - Prepare detailed work plans.
  • Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems - Collect data about project sites.
  • Develop standard procedures and quality or safety standards for installation and repairs
  • Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, and increase the efficiency of solar installation projects
  • Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
  • Develop a technical problem resolution and escalation process
  • Provide support to the Customer Care Agents in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Prepare electrical single-line diagrams, load/panel schedules, and shop drawings for solar electric systems.
  • Develop, and design specifications and functional requirements for residential commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components.
  • Develop standard operation procedures and quality standards for solar installation work
  • Perform electrical checks, test, and evaluate photovoltaic (PV) cells or modules.
  • Report any malfunctioned equipment to the Company immediately for rectification
  • Prioritize and optimize for the highest speed in execution.
  • Review specifications and recommend engineering changes to achieve solar design objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate installations in compliance with safety standards
  • Estimate materials, equipment, and personnel needed for residential or commercial solar installation projects.
  • Advise management on the continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Develop and run market tests on new products (including components and accessories) that can meet the customers’ energy needs and functional requirements.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND in relevant fields with 3 - 5 years of work experience.

Salary / Benefits

  • N140,000 - N150,000 monthly.
  • Successful candidates would also be entitled to an installation bonus and other benefits

2.) Purchasing Officer

Job Location: Warri / Effunrun, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Ensure all customers are attended to within short period of time in a professional manner.
  • Scale all scraps batteries from suppliers and record same (both KG/PCS) to avoid discrepancy.
  • Prepare cash payment vouchers for every scrap transaction documented and approved for payment.
  • To facilitate the discovery of Scraps or fairly used battery which are classify as tested OK and confirmed their quality.
  • To ensure that all water in the battery are properly and well drain before purchasing takes place.
  • To monitor the Scaling Machine condition on daily basis for accurate scaling and recording.
  • To ensure clean and friendly working environment at all time.
  • Keep and track the stocks level through accurate stocks keeping records for both Inverter and Okada/UPS Battery
  • Reconcile all cash received and retire all unspent cash on daily basis.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products and out of stocks products.
  • To coordinate the arrangement of Scrap Battery in the Warehouse properly and Assist where necessary in arranging them.
  • To ensure all Scrap suppliers money are paid either through Cash, Transfer, POS and other means as approve by the Management.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND / NCE / HND / B.Sc Degree.
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Computer Literate
  • Smart and good with numbers

Salary
N40,000 - N45,000 / month.

3.) Junior Solar Installer / Technician

Job Locations: Wuye - Abuja (FCT) and Oshodi & Ajah - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Assessing locations to ensure they are suitable for solar panels.
  • Installing and maintaining solar panels on homes, business premises or open land.
  • Ensuring all Solar Panels installed follow Company’s installation guideline
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Ensuring that the General Assembly is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Reporting any malfunctioned equipment to the Company immediately for rectification
  • Performing maintenance checks and fixing solar panels
  • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Ensuring that Chemical decomposition of Batteries and are securely packed and kept from contaminating other items of use in the General Assembly
  • Ensure that the wiring installation in the General Office and Assembly are neatly pegged and concealed in conduit pipes.
  • Monitoring the discovery and charging of Faily usedbatteries across branches.
  • Ensuring proper stock records before fairly usedBatteries are transferred to the General Warehouse.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience.

Salary
N45,000 - N50,000 Monthly.
