We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Barista
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Emplyment type: Full-time
Job Overview
- As the Barista, you are responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing exceptional customer service.
- This role ensures that every guest has a positive experience, manages café operations efficiently, and maintains a clean and organised workspace.
- The position requires excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong understanding of café service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Service:
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and speciality beverages according to café recipes and quality standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and temperature of beverages.
- Customise drinks according to customer preferences while maintaining quality standards.
Customer Experience & Engagement:
- Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally.
- Take orders accurately, answer questions about the menu, and offer product recommendations.
- Handle customer complaints or feedback courteously and escalate to management when necessary.
- Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in the café.
Operational & Administrative Duties:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock ingredients and supplies, and report shortages to management.
- Prepare and store food items according to hygiene and safety standards (if applicable).
- Handle cash, card, and mobile payments accurately using the POS system.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, cash reconciliation, and equipment shutdown.
Teamwork & Professional Development:
- Collaborate effectively with other baristas and café staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
- Support management in implementing café policies and promotional activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous barista experience preferred; customer service experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and café equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 20 kg (e.g., coffee bags, milk cartons).
- Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced environment.

2.) Painting Assistant
Job Location: Garki, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The Painting Assistant plays a key role in supporting the smooth operation of all art sessions and creative experiences at the Art Café.
- Working closely with the Lead Artist and workshop facilitators, the role involves the preparation and organisation of art materials, maintenance of workspaces, and the delivery of excellent customer support.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enthusiastic about the creative arts, and committed to maintaining a welcoming and inspiring environment for all café patrons.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop Preparation & Setup:
- Prepare art materials such as palettes, brushes, canvases, and paints ahead of workshops and studio sessions.
- Set up easels, worktables, protective coverings, and designated painting zones as required.
- Ensure all tools and supplies are in place and accessible to participants before sessions begin.
Workspace Maintenance & Clean-Up
- Clean brushes, palettes, and art tools thoroughly after each session.
- Maintain tidy and sanitised workstations, sink areas, and storage spaces.
- Restock consumable supplies including paints, paper, and canvases in a timely manner.
- Support proper disposal of art-related waste in line with safety and hygiene standards.
Customer Interaction & Support:
- Assist clients in selecting suitable canvas sizes and paint types.
- Offer basic guidance on the use of materials and post-session clean-up.
- Uphold a warm, helpful, and professional attitude to enhance the customer experience.
Inventory Monitoring & Supplies Management:
- Monitor stock levels of art supplies and report restocking needs to the Lead Artist or Manager.
- Help organise and store materials for ease of access and safety.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries of new supplies.
Team & Operational Support:
- Carry out general art café duties as assigned, contributing to daily operations and special events.
- Promote a positive, creative, and collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience in a creative or studio setting will also be considered.
- Previous experience in an art studio, hospitality, or retail environment is desirable, particularly roles involving customer service and organisation. Familiarity with art materials and workshop environments is an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed.
- Basic knowledge of painting materials, tools, and care techniques.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Physically able to lift supplies, stand for long periods, and perform routine cleaning tasks.

3.) Arts & Crafts Facilitator and Sales Representative
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Summary
- The Arts & Crafts Facilitator and Sales Representative will assist and support creative learning activities for children, facilitate arts & crafts sessions and workshops, and support sales operations in the store.
- This dual-function role combines educational facilitation with retail sales responsibilities, ensuring that customers receive an engaging, informative and customer-centric experience.
Key Responsibilities
Arts & Crafts Facilitation:
- Assist in designing age-appropriate arts & crafts activities that encourage children’s creativity, fine motor skills, and cognitive development.
- Support lesson/activity plans tailored to different age groups (typically toddlers and early primary ages).
- Assist in coordinating and facilitating scheduled workshops, drop-in creative activities, and special event sessions within the store.
- Ensure safe use of materials and guide tools, techniques and artistic expression
- Build positive rapport with children, support participation, and encourage parent involvement when appropriate.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to parents on how to extend creative learning at home.
- Assist in setting up materials, supplies and stations before sessions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the creative space after activities.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional, friendly, and responsive customer service.
- Welcome and greet customers warmly, creating a positive in-store experience.
- Ascertain customers’ needs and preferences and recommend suitable products accordingly.
- Assist customers with accurate product information, clearly explaining features, benefits, and appropriate age usage.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues where necessary.
- Communicate customer feedback, preferences, and market insights to management to support business improvement.
Store Operations & Merchandising:
- Maintain outstanding store condition, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards at all times.
- Ensure shop floor stock is properly arranged, displayed, and replenished as needed.
- Receive, unpack, label, and arrange new shipments from suppliers and vendors accurately.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and new product arrivals.
Sales Transactions & Reporting:
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, cards, and other payment methods in line with company procedures.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and provide updates to management as required.
- Support inventory tracking and stock level monitoring to prevent shortages or losses.
Marketing & Brand Representation:
- Contribute to store marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and optimising sales.
- Participate in marketing events, seminars, and telemarketing activities as assigned.
- Represent the companyprofessionally at all times, upholding brand values and standards.
- Support initiatives that promote child development through the selection of appropriate toys and customer education.
Qualifications
- A minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Education, Fine Arts, Early Childhood Studies, or related field is a plus.
- Strong experience in arts & crafts facilitation, creative instruction or workshop delivery (especially with children).
- Demonstrated sales or customer service experience in retail environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence working with children and parents in a public retail setting.
Preferred:
- Background in early childhood development, creative arts, education or similar.
- Familiarity with children’s creative products and craft supplies.
- Experience with POS systems and basic sales reporting.
Core Competencies:
- Creativity & Instruction: Ability to design, explain and lead engaging arts & crafts activities.
- Customer-Centric Sales: Ability to identify customer needs and match them with appropriate products and experiences.
- Organisation & Presentation: Maintain a clean, well-organised space for learning activities and merchandise.
