UMERA Farms Limited is an Agro-allied company, registered in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 of the Corporate Affairs Commission on the 18th August, 2020. UMERA Farms operate in the diversified agribusiness; livestock and crop farming production, with our primary focus on cashew crop production.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Director of Academic Affairs

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Summary


  • We are seeking a visionary and experienced academic leader to serve as Director of Academic Affairs, providing strategic leadership for all academic activities of the school.
  • The Director of Academic Affairs will oversee the planning, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of all academic programs at Umera Business School.
  • The role requires strong leadership, academic excellence, curriculum development expertise, and the ability to align academic standards with industry relevance and institutional goals.

Key Responsibilties
Academic Leadership & Strategy:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all academic programs, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and vision.
  • Develop and implement academic policies, standards, and procedures in line with best practices.
  • Drive innovation in teaching, learning, and assessment methodologies.

Curriculum Development & Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee the design, review, and accreditation of academic and executive education programs.
  • Ensure curriculum relevance, rigor, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Monitor and continuously improve academic quality and learning outcomes.

Faculty & Instructional Oversight:

  • Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and support faculty members and adjunct instructors.
  • Promote faculty development, research, and instructional excellence.
  • Ensure effective course delivery and adherence to academic schedules.

Student Academic Affairs:

  • Oversee academic advising, assessment, grading standards, and academic progression.
  • Address academic concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters fairly and professionally.
  • Support student success initiatives and learning support systems.

Institutional Collaboration & Representation:

  • Work closely with the Managing Director, administrative teams, and external partners.
  • Represent the school in academic partnerships, accreditation engagements, and academic events.
  • Support the development of industry-aligned programs and executive training offerings.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Prepare academic reports, program evaluations, and performance metrics.
  • Manage academic budgets, resources, and schedules efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate academic records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with proven experience in curriculum development, academic administration, or program management.

2.) Director, Grants & Strategic Partnership Manager

Job Location: Ibadan, Ogbomoso - Oyo (Hybrid with travel)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Senior Level)
Sector: Agriculture • Rural Development • Impact • Youth

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and scale multi-year programs focused on youth and women agribusiness enterprise development.
  • Lead grant sourcing, proposal development, fundraising strategy, and donor negotiations.
  • Build and manage relationships with international development partners (Mastercard Foundation, AfDB, USAID, Afreximbank, UN agencies, philanthropic foundations, banks,
  • etc.)
  • Develop impact frameworks, KPls, budgets, Theory of Change, and M&E systems.
  • Coordinate program pilots and implementation with UMéRA Farms, UMéRA Business School, and Alaafia Village.
  • Prepare donor reports, impact documentation, and annual impact publications.
  • Represent UMéRA at high-level conferences, donor meetings, and government engagements.
  • Structure blended finance and co-funding models, including diaspora-supported investment pathways.
  • Develop sustainability and scale strategies (Oyo Southwest -4 National).

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7-12+ years of experience in international development, agriculture programs, donor-funded projects, rural development, impact investing, public-private partnerships, or related fields.
  • Proven experience raising or managing grants of $1 M+ from institutional funders.
  • Strong technical writing, proposal development, and research capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with youth/women empowerment, food systems, climate, or rural development programs (strong advantage).
  • Familiarity with African agricultural ecosystems is preferred. Advanced degree in development, agriculture, economics, public policy, business, or related disciplines is a plus. Entrepreneurial attitude, mission-driven, and comfortable building systems from the ground up.

3.) Real Estate Sales Manager

Job Location:  Lagos

Job Description

  • The Sales Manager will lead thesales team and drive revenue growth through structured sales strategies for our agro-tourism land project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for agro-tourism land sales, Recruit, train, and supervise realtors and sales executives, Set sales targets and monitor individual and team performance, Coordinate site inspections and client investment tours, Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and partners, Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports, Collaborate with management on marketing and promotional campaigns

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in real estate sales (land sales preferred)
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Lagos real estate market
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Must be based in Lagos
  • Experience selling investment or estate lands is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in real estate sales is an advantage (fresh but trainable candidates may apply)
  • Strong persuasion and customer-relation skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven,
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
