1.) Project Engineer

Job Description


  • Our client is recruiting to fill the position of Project Engineer who will be responsible for managing their engineering and technical contracts.
  • This includes coordinating with various teams, managing schedules,ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a detailed project plan that includes timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members.
  • Coordinate with various teams, including design, construction, and maintenance teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Ensure the project adheres to quality standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies as it affects operations of company.
  • Monitor operations for compliance with applicable local and international regulations and legislations.
  • Ensure operations are run in compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage personnel and occasionally oversee budgetary responsibilities.
  • Effectively communicate organizational objectives, priorities, and policies with the field team and key reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project.
  • Manage the schedule and safe execution of activities.
  • Work with offshore personnel to optimize operations to meet objectives and high uptime.
  • Maintain beneficial and positive relationships with field personnel and host communities to promote a positive image of the company and an uninterrupted operations in the field.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for evaluating performance.
  • Ensure that the equipment are maintained, recertified, available, dispatched and utilized to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field. A postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience as Project Engineer.
  • Technical knowledge of facility, construction, and project management.
  • Proficient with the MS Office suite – Excel / PowerPoint / Word / Project.
  • Experience in tank cleaning will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong client focus for both internal and the eternal parties.
  • In-depth knowledge on best oil and gas field procedures and practices.

Salary
N500,000 Net Monthly (slightly negotiable).

2.) Project Planner

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Our client is looking to hire an effective Project Planner to drive the highest level of safety, quality, and value-added results at optimal cost in the execution of company projects.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the list of plans required to execute the assigned project and their interface to other sub-elements.
  • Responsible for outlining the scope of projects, including determining the start and delivery dates.
  • Deliver and maintain consistent and realistic plans and control structures for the project.
  • Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessment.
  • Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members.
  • Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports for management.
  • Recommend and implement modifications to improve effectiveness and accomplish project milestones.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems.
  • Educate personnel in methods to ensure project continuity and completeness.
  • Evaluate and analyze with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them.
  • Implement and maintain the status reports. Provide regular and comprehensive schedule status reports.
  • Assess and incorporate the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and identification of alternate approaches to optimize the plan(s).
  • Liaise with and challenge Project engineering personnel to ensure proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and drivers.
  • Contribute to the translation of the project’s risk profile into the probabilistic risk model and understand the output, including the key risk drivers for the possible range of schedule completion dates.
  • Lead development of baseline schedule and support Project Manager (PM) in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR).
  • Gather data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team.
  • Implement and comply with the planning and progress monitoring procedures.
  • Weekly and monthly schedule progress update, forecast, critical path and trend analyses, including any impact from interface areas.
  • Provide input data for and participate in benchmarking activities. Contribute to close-out data to enable knowledge retention (lessons learned, project data compilation) at completion of work.

Qualifications / Competencies

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years or more of experience in the Oil and Gas industry in a project environment.
  • Certified PMP, PMI-SP, CAPM will be an advantage.
  • Exceptional Time Management skills
  • Detail Oriented, Ability to pay keen attention to details.
  • Absolute Team player
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Outlook Shared Point, and excellent Excel skills
  • Project Management, Coordination, Planning and Scheduling
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate Leadership qualities at all times
  • Good knowledge of Primavera P6.

Salary
N450,000 net per month (slightly negotiable).

3.) Inventory Officer

Job Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking to hire an Inventory officer who will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring stock levels and coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for handling the procurement of materials/ merchandise and its proper distribution.
  • He/She must also ensure that goods are kept in good conditions at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the purchase orders, receive, and store stock and coordinate the giving out of supplies from the stock.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with recorded quantities.
  • Oversee the arrangement of goods in an orderly system for easy identification and retrieval when required.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss, damage and theft.
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are achieved.
  • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and propose appropriate actions such as liquidation or promotions.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements and other relevant metrics for management review.

Requirements

  • At least a First Degree in Accounting, Administration, Logistics or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as inventory officer or in similar position.
  • An analytical mind with numerical competence.
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and generate reports.
  • Prior experience in warehouse management will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient with the MS Office suite - Excel / PowerPoint / Word.
  • Methodical approach to complete tasks with the ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary
N180,000 - N250,000 Monthly Net (dependent on experience).
