We are recruiting to fill the position below:

1.) Maintenance Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT) 

Responsibilities

• Have intergrity
• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests.
• Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Communicatewith different types of people to comprehend what they want and to provide them with information and assistance.
• Check for new maintenance requests from the Front Desk and housekeeping and update remarks once the task is completed.
• Update the maintenece task list and check all done tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure situations and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to focus attention on details, speed, and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret readings from meters & gauges and other measuring units.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information.
• Ability to ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
• Ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals.
• Perform maintenance activities in the guest room like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, and repairing all types of hardware, and electrical equipment including lamps.
• Perform maintenance activities in hotel public areaslike plunging toilets, unclogging drains, and repairing all types of hardware, plumbing, and electrical equipment and cosmetic items.
• Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment.
• To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
• To operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.

2.) Store Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT) 

Responsibilties

• Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the correct point of contact/storage area.
• Able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store’s area of operation.
• Monitor and take inventory regularly to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
• Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
• Monitor parlevels for all food items to ensure proper levels.
• Responsible for storage of both food & beverage and operational stock.
• Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
• Responsible for verifying all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note, and agreed quantity had been received.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
• Ensure all store requisitions are signed by concerned Department Heads (HODs) and approved by FC/GM depending upon the hotel’s operations procedure.
• Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always match.
• Ensure the store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and recorded.
• Post all invoices using the MMS – Material Management System.
• Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
• Conduct physical stock audits regularly and ensure the physical count is to be tallied with the inventory count.

3.) Chef

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

• Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the Executive Chef to meet the standard and quality set by the Restaurant.
• Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
• Coordinates daily tasks with other Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.
• Responsible for supervising junior chefs and Kitchen Assistants.
• Able to estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
• Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies about food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation.
• Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods/cost of production, and presentation standards.
• Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
• Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating, and food costs on an ongoing basis.
• Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.
• Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
• Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a relevant qualification with 5 years of work experience.
