Job Position: Inventory Reconciliation Specialist
Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job summary
- The Inventory Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory records across all stores and the e-commerce platform.
- The role focuses on stock reconciliation, variance analysis, shrinkage control, and strengthening inventory governance processes.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, deep understanding of inventory controls, and exceptional reconciliation capability.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Reconciliation & Counting:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of physical stock against ERP/system records.
- Reconcile warehouse, store, and e-commerce inventory balances.
- Partake in monthly and periodic stock count.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and transfer variances.
- Validate Goods Received Notes (GRNs), stock transfers, returns, and adjustments.
- Ensure alignment between finance records and inventory movement reports.
Variance Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare inventory variance reports and provide root cause analysis.
- Monitor stock movement trends and identify unusual patterns.
- Track shrinkage levels and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide monthly inventory accuracy reports to management.
Process Control & Compliance:
- Enforce adherence to inventory management policies and SOPs.
- Conduct periodic spot checks and support physical stock counts.
- Strengthen internal controls to reduce stock loss and fraud exposure.
- Collaborate with Store Supervisors and Warehouse Officers to improve stock accuracy.
Systems & Data Management:
- Ensure accurate data entry for stock movements within ERP systems.
- Support automation initiatives to improve inventory visibility.
- Maintain reconciliation schedules and audit-ready documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse accounting, or stock audit.
- Retail experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of stock audit procedures and internal control frameworks.
Salary
N250,000 / month.
