Procurement Officer

WellMed Healthcare Limited, a Diagnostics Centre in Lagos State, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Officer
Job Location: Ajah, Lagos

Job Description

• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
• Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Research potential vendors
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

Qualifications

• Graduate qualification preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent field
• Minimum 3 years Procurement experience in the Healthcare or medical devices & pharmaceuticals industry.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings.
• Knowledge of designing and implementing procurement policies and procedures

Preferred:

• Demonstrated negotiation and sourcing skills
• Chartered of instituted of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification would be a definite advantage.
• Resident around Lekki, Ajah and environs.
