We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Public Relation Officer
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Communication Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to achieve specific organizational goals, such as raising brand awareness, promoting products or services, or addressing public concerns.
• Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers to secure positive media coverage and manage media inquiries.
• Content Creation: Write and edit press releases, social media posts, articles, speeches, and other promotional materials to convey key messages and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Event Planning: Plan and organize press conferences, media briefings, public events, and corporate events to generate media attention and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Crisis Management: Develop and execute crisis communication plans to manage negative publicity, address public concerns, and minimize damage to the organization's reputation.
• Monitoring and Analysis: Track media coverage, monitor online discussions, and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of PR campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
• Public Engagement: Respond to public inquiries, manage social media interactions, and build relationships with community organizations and other stakeholders.
