Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Geo-Database & GIS Geologist to lead our exploration data management systems and infrastructure.
• You will design, implement, and maintain geo-databases, ensure data integrity, and provide training to users.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain exploration data management systems
• Oversee data management protocols and procedures
• Provide training and support to users
• Manage technical software licenses
• Contribute to mineral resource estimation
• Promote operational excellence in exploration teams.

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in Geology, MSc/MEng preferred
• 10+ years of experience in geology/mining, with 5+ years in geo-database design and management
• Strong knowledge of geology and orebody modelling
• Proficiency in geo-data management software and GIS software
• International/Africa experience in diverse geological environments.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with mineral resource modelling software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
