Dumez Nigeria Limited, an Engineering and Construction company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Site Engineer
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Interpreting and understanding construction drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site surveys and establishing site control points.
• Setting out construction lines and levels on site
• Inspect work in progress to maintain quality control standards
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and permits
• Investigate and report any accidents or incidents
• Supervise construction crews, assigning tasks and coordinating their activities on site
• Manage site logistics, including equipment and access control
• Enforce all safety regulations on site, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing potential hazards
• Maintaining detailed site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and inspection reports

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Architecture (A Master Degree will be an added advantage)
• Technical knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and project management methodologies
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be available to resume immediately.
