Job Position: Director of Works & Services

Job Location: Uturu, Abia

Person & Responsibility

  • The Director of Works & Services is the head of the Works & Services Department of the University, responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the development and maintenance of the infrastructure, equipment and sundry other utilities of the University.

Required Qualifications 
The candidate must possess:


  • A Degree/HND in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical) and be a registered member of the following professional bodies:
  • Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN)
  • The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
  • A hgher Degree in Engineering and a fellowship of any of the above-listed professional bodies would be an advantage
  • The candidate should be ICT literate and not more than fifty-five (55) years age.

Experience:

  • Candidate must have at least ten (10) years of post-qualification experience.

Salary/Condition of Service

  • The Salary and conditions of service shall be as obtainable in the Nigeria University system.
  • The appointment would be for one term of five (5) years only
