We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Preparing error free accounting reports and present their results to the management
• Analysing financial information and summarising financial status
• Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivables.
• Develop accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Maintain an invoice processing tracker to detect and control transaction processing gaps.
• Compute withholding tax on invoices
• Ensure approval of payment run daily and verification of invoice payment
• Contribute to unit effectiveness and overall efficiency of the company in meeting its obligations to vendors
• Generate monthly report on invoices.
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
• Handles tax audits and tax returns.
