Elduke Consulting - Our client in the finance sector is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the company’s accounting system (customer & non customer related)
• Responsible for maintaining journal entries of revenue, cost and balance sheet items
• Responsible for posting loan disbursements & repayments via the company’s loan management software and generating reports relating thereto
• Posts daily transactions on authorized credit bureau & other reporting platform
• Render periodic financial reports to management
• Performs other duties as may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year cognate working experience
• B.Sc Accounting
• A professional accounting certification I.e ACA, ACCA will be an added advantage
• Basic understanding of Accounting and Bookkeeping practice.
• Must be computer savvy.
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Must be goal oriented & able to work with minimum supervision
• Age: Not more than 35 years of age.
• Must be resident in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
