International Golden Edge Trading (IGET) Limited, an e-commerce startup in Abuja, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Abuja

Job Summary

• We are looking for a committed accounting professional to oversee bookkeeping, financial and accounting reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire accounting cycle including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Lead the implementation and use of ERP/accounting software
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting
• Ensure statutory compliance with FIRS, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory requirements
• Oversee bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and inventory cost accounting
• Lead finance-related audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants
• Provide financial insight and strategic recommendations to management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or Banking & Finance (essential)
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-NYSC work experience in a similar accounting role
• ICAN, ACCA, or similar professional certification (added advantage)
• Strong experience with ERP systems and modern accounting tools
• Excellent knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations
• Proven experience managing financial processes in an e-commerce and retail environment (added advantage)
• Must be able to use Microsoft Excel at a professional or advanced level.
