Accountant Job in Abuja

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Accountant to join our head office in Abuja. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing the company’s financial operations, coordinating branch accountants, and supporting strategic financial planning. This position demands a high level of integrity, analytical thinking, and a hands-on approach to managing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and risk management in alignment with both local and international standards.

Job Position: Accountant

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

•  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA is required or strongly preferred.

CORE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

•  Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial standards (GAAP, 
• IFRS).
•  Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
•  High level of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct.
• Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset.
•  Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and tight  deadlines.
•  Financial analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting, budgeting and cost control expertise.
