They are part of UFlex Ltd., a major player in the flexible packaging industry, offering advanced packaging films and catering to global demands from their strategically located plants.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Assistant Manager - Electrical, Power Plant
Job Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily shift operation of the substation and independently perform overhaul, repair, and troubleshooting of Bergen or Wartsila engines, including utility aspects.
• Transformer, VCB, and ACB operation and maintenance.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise for transformers, generators, motors, relays, cables, etc.
• DOL, star-delta starter, and VFD operation and troubleshooting.
• PCC and MCC operation and troubleshooting.
• Devise appropriate PM schedules for all critical equipment as per OEM recommendations, ensure proper implementation, and maintain ISO documents.
• Carry out maintenance and repair of all instruments, PLC control systems, and LV, MV, and HV switchgears.
• Carry out maintenance of all electrical equipment in the Wartsila power plant and associated facilities.
• Knowledgeable in the use of computers.
• Must be responsible, honest, and have proper communication skills.
