Smart Partners Consulting Limited - Our client, a Microfinance Bank with branches across the country, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Branch Manager
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational aspects of the branch, manage cost, budgets and setting performance objectives.
• Monitor and direct performance by analyzing the branch performance score card
• Review the daily repayment reports and other relevant reports per Loan Officer and for the entire Branch as soon as they are available.
• Ensures business goals and revenue targets are achieved.
• Plan, evaluating and optimize operations to be efficient and cost effective.
• Develop branch staff through, coaching and giving of constructive feedback with an eye towards employee long term career growth.
• Develop and implement marketing and relationship management plans to achieve sales targets for the branch

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree from a reputable higher institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Branch Manager or Supervisor in a Reputable Microfinance or Commercial Bank
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites- Excel, Power Point, Word and Others
• Strong Analytical Skills – able to read and interpret financial statements and evaluate loan recommendations
• Good written and verbal communications skill
• Strong Leadership and people management skills
• Commercial mindedness/business acumen
