The Candel FZE is a manufacturing company engaged in the development, production, marketing and distribution of agrochemicals, specialised fertilisers, seeds and allied products in Nigeria.It is located in the Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju- Lekki; near Dangote Refinery.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Graduate Trainee (Lawyer)

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Graduate Trainee Lawyer will support the Administration Department in managing, reviewing, and organizing all company documents.
• The role is primarily administrative in nature, but requires legal awareness to ensure that contracts, agreements, and records are properly handled, accurate, and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and review all documents relating to the enterprise to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in organizing, filing, and maintaining company records and correspondence.
• Provide administrative support in the preparation and circulation of contracts, agreements, and internal documents.
• Support the Admin Department in day-to-day documentation and clerical tasks.
• Draft simple letters, memos, and reports under supervision.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive company information.
• Carry out other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Strong reading and comprehension skills.
• Good organizational and administrative ability.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Integrity, discretion, and willingness to learn.
• Minimum of 2:1 from a Nigerian University
• Not more than 28 years
• No experience required.
