Job Position: Cashier

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers, take their orders, answer any questions, and assist with menu selections when necessary.
• Order Processing: Accurately input orders into the register or point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring proper charges for food, drinks, and any add-ons.
• Payment Handling: Process payments through cash, credit/debit cards, or digital payments, and provide change or receipts as necessary.
• Customer Feedback: Handle customer inquiries or complaints, offering solutions or referring them to a manager when needed.
• Coordination with Staff: Communicate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the cashier station clean and organized, ensuring a tidy, welcoming environment.
• Managing Cash and Registers: Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, ensuring accurate transaction records.
• Promotions and Upselling: Inform customers of promotions or specials and recommend additional items to increase sales.
