Job Position: Chartered Accountant

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
The ideal candidate will assist the Accounts unit in achieving the following:

• Maintenance of accounting journals Petty cash reconciliation Payment voucher Reconciliation of Debtors and Creditor's ledger.
• Management of Fixed Asset register Monthly Bank reconciliation.
• Monitor and evaluate annual budget/forecast Backing up data on the Accounting software.
• Remittance of statutory deductions/contributions (PAYE/VAT/WHT/ITF/NHF) Preparation of monthly Payroll.
• Preparation of weekly management report; Project Management Analysis Report to the Chief Accountant.

Requirements
The company is looking for an Accountant with the following:

• B.Sc in Accounting (ACA is added advantage).
• 3 - 5 years cognate experience.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Sage
• Accounting Experience in the use of Microsoft packages.
• Good knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Good analytical skills and attention to details.
• Age limit: 25 - 30 years.
