Job Position: Consultant (Crisis and Security)

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Description


  • This role will deliver security consulting tasks such as site security reviews, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments and crisis management and emergency response plans.
  • The consultant will based in Lagos, Nigeria but will be required to execute consulting tasks across West Africa .
  • The consultant may also be required to support the broader crisis and security consulting team in West Africa as required.

Responsibilities
Operational delivery:

  • Conduct tasks including but not limited to, security vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, reviews, and audits of client sites across various locations in Nigeria and West Africa.
  • Develop site security plans for client locations which will contain recommendations on mitigating security threats.
  • Delivery of tasks for clients on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
  • In addition, you may be required to support security risk trainings, workshops, intrusion testing, business continuity consulting and other security consulting tasks.
  • In conjunction with your team members ensure all engagements and tasks are set up correctly from an administrative, contractual and billing perspective.
  • Regular liaison with other key Control Risks offices, service lines and teams across the practice areas as required
  • Support consultancy assignments in scoping, delivery and reporting.
  • Ensure that practices, policies, strategy and services are fully aligned with client needs.
  • Support maintenance of client relationships; act in conjunction with consultants and key account managers.
  • Maintain time and expense records to ensure accurate invoicing in accordance with company procedure
  • Available to travel across the region on tasks if required.
  • The role may involve significant travel to client sites and Control Risks offices (across the region).
  • Client liaison in order to develop client relationships across the full spectrum of capabilities.
  • Ensure requests from clients and prospect clients are dealt with effectively.
  • Coordination and support to regional tasks as necessary.
  • Maintenance and management of sub-contractors and coordination of associated engagements with appropriate contracts and compliance requirements.
