Job Position: Data & Product Inventory Manager

Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Data & Product Inventory Manager to manage product listings, stocks levels, and product data on our E-Commerce website. 
• You will play a key role in keeping our online store accurate, organized, and optimized; ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers and efficient backend operations for our team.

Responsibilities
E- Commerce Product and Inventory Management:

• Add, update, and manage product listings, descriptions, images, pricing, and attributes
• Track inventory levels and ensure stock status is accurate
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse team to update stock and product availability
• Handle product variations (e.g., size, color, weight) and ensure proper configuration.

Product Data Accuracy and Quality Control:

• Regularly audit the product catalog to identify and fix missing or incorrect data
• Ensure product metadata, tags, categories, and SEO fields are correctly optimized
• Create and maintain organized product databases (CSV/Excel for bulk updates)

E-Commerce Tools and Integration:

• Use inventory plugins or tools (e.g., Stock Manager Etc.)
• Ensure proper syncing of inventory across any connected platforms (e.g., marketplaces, POS)
• Assist in setting up automation for backorders, low-stock alerts, and stock rules

Team Coordination and Support:

• Work closely with the warehouse/logistics team to ensure real-time inventory
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams during product launches or promotions
• Assist customer service with product availability and stock-related queries

Requirements and Skills

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc. Degree
• 2+ years of experience in product or inventory management for an E-Commerce organization
• NYSC Certificate or exemption letter
• Hands-on experience with E-Commerce and WordPress
• Proficiency in MS Office; especially Excel/Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large product catalogs
• Basic understanding of SEO for E-Commerce (titles, meta descriptions, tags)
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
