We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Supermarket Supervisor

Job Location: By GTBank, Opposite AP Filling Station, Apo District ^ Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Work Schedule: Work one day in, one day out (Approximately 15 working days monthly)
Start Date: Immediate

Job Summary

• The Supermarket Supervisor will support daily store operations by supervising staff, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining customer service standards, supporting stock control, and enforcing operational procedures.
• The role requires dedication, computer literacy, basic retail experience, and strong supervision skills to ensure efficient store performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• A dedicated, computer-literate supermarket supervisor with at least one year of retail experience,
• capable of supervising staff, supporting daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and
• maintaining operational standards in a fast-paced supermarket environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of staff on duty
• Ensure staff punctuality, discipline, and productivity
• Support store manager in daily operations
• Monitor customer service delivery
• Handle basic customer complaints and escalate when necessary
• Assist in stock monitoring and inventory control
• Ensure proper product arrangement and shelf management
• Monitor cleanliness, orderliness, and store organization
• Support sales activities and customer engagement
• Track daily operations and basic reporting
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
• Prevent losses, theft, and operational errors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail/supermarket operations
• Must be computer literate
• Must show strong dedication and commitment to work
• Good communication skills
• Basic leadership and supervision ability
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
• Physically fit and reliable.
