Job Position: Field Service Engineer - Rotary Filling Machine (Mechanical / Mechatronic)

Your Opportunity

• We are looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to join our Service team and work with Sidel high-speed Rotary Blowing, Filling, and Labeling machines.
• This role involves traveling across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, supporting our global clients with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced equipment.

Your Mission:

• To Perform Installation, start?up, commissioning of the Sidel Equipment (Filler) supplied to customer sites.
• Perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training and other after sales services of Sidel’s equipment installed at customer sites.
• Finally, a good understanding of the customer needs is to be developed to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Installation, Qualification & Testing and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications.
• Operate on Mechanical systems, HMI for regular activities and troubleshooting as per Standard Operating Procedures.
  Execute electrical work (e.g., cable wiring)
• Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.
• Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
• Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan and customer rules.
• Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site.
• Coach junior colleagues on the on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables.
• Report to the Installation Site Manager for team site activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 5 years of experiences in field service environment.
• Experiences in high speed rotary filling machine PET.GLASS and CAN.
• Experiences in different application e.g., CSD (Carbonated), HR (Hot Filling), PH (Preferential heating), Aseptic, plasma coating technology PET, and others is an advantage.
• English fluent, written and spoken.
• Consolidated technical background on Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics.
• Knowledge of others Sidel equipment or packaging equipment such Blowing and labeling machine is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable with the PLC (Siemens / B&R / ELAU) is an advantage.
• Able to travel (up to 90% in international environment)
