We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Finance Associate

Job Location: Lagos

 Job Responsibilities

• As a Finance Associate, you will be expected to perform the following duties
• Coordinate month-end close process and ensure all general ledger accounts are accurately closed with supporting schedules for all balance sheet accounts
• Upload and post bank transactions on QuickBooks
• Perform Homemade outlet revenue reconciliation and Marketplace, B2B and B2C reconciliation (matching vendors payout with revenue)
• Perform End of Month (EOM) Revenue reconciliation
• Perform Payroll Computation
• Perform EOM Inventory reconciliation and closing
• Prepare P or L report across all businesses

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting
• Must have at least 2 years of proven experience in a Finance or Accounting role in a mid-sized company.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Proficiency in using Accounting software and databases.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Note

• You must currently live within Lagos.
• The work mode is hybrid, however, you will be working mostly remote (only required to meet physically when there is a need for it).
• If you already own a laptop, that is an advantage.
• The nature of this role will require you to provide support during public holidays and on Saturdays (when required).
