Job Position: Finance Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Overall Description

• As a finance officer your main responsibility will involve supporting the Chief Executive Officer
• related to managing the financial reporting and finance management activities of the company.
• support towards resolving problems in relation to due payments, and reconciling complex
• month-end accounts.
• In addition to this you are required to support the Think Hat Projects team with managing
• accounts receivables and accounts payables as it relates to client projects. You will provide
• You must also report to the key management team you report to on outstanding issues, whilst
• highlighting potential debtor problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project invoices for each client according to predefined templates.
• Manage the accounting software for the company
• Ensure implementation of the company's financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency.
• Oversee the preparation and planning of yearly budgets.
• Maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions/cash flow according to a defined yearly budget.
• Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
• Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.
• Develop and manage financial reports for the company.
• Ensure timely remittance of statutory payments on behalf of the company.
• Resolving client invoicing queries and issues as it relates to payments.
• Develop annual financial models for the company in partnership with the Head of Finance.
• Ensure financial records are kept up to date with the latest transactions and changes.
• Contribute to financial audits.
• Prepare and manage balance sheets, cash flow and financial statements for the company.

Requirements

• An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
