Seflam SGL Limited is an indigenous provider of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) services in West Africa with over 17 years experience servicing Oil and Gas majors including ExxonMobil, Chevron, Total and Shell. Job Position: General Manager (GM)

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

• The General Manager (GM) provides strategic leadership and operational direction for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of all EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) projects.
• The GM is responsible for business growth, compliance with regulatory and local content requirements, and alignment of company objectives with performance excellence in safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields (master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 8 years in executive/senior management roles in the EPCI or oil & gas industry.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within time, budget, and quality expectations.
• Sound knowledge of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act.
• Strong financial and business acumen with budget development and P&L (Profit and Loss) management experience, including the ability to analyse financial reports, develop cost-effective strategies, monitor key financial indicators, and drive sustainable profitability.
• Expertise in project lifecycle management, contracting, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to interface with engineering teams. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
