We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Graduate Electrical & Mechanical Engineer

Job Location: Ondo
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities


  • Installation & Commissioning
  • Assist OEM and senior engineers in mechanical assembly, cabling, instrumentation and PLC/I/O checkout.
  • Execute start-up, calibration and performance testing to agreed KPIs.
  • Compile as-built drawings, SOPs and maintenance schedules.
  • Operations & Maintenance (Post-commissioning)
  • Run routine inspections, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical drives, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, CIP units and utilities.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for downtime events and implement corrective actions.
  • Train production operators on safe equipment use.
  • Contribute to continuous-improvement and energy-efficiency projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.Sc. / B.Eng. or HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Maximum 0-3 years of post-NYSC work experience (industrial internship or SIWES counts).
  • Completion of the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
  • Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and a genuine desire to build a career in the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Desirable (but not mandatory)
  • Exposure to any of the following: PLC/HMI programming, motor control centres, process piping, rotating equipment, CAD or CMMS.
  • Internship/IT or project experience in FMCG, beverages, agro-processing or power generation.

  • Analytical problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Safety-first mindset and familiarity with permit-to-work systems.
  • Effective communicator able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to live and work in Akure and work shifts once production starts.
