Job Description/Requirements

• We need a Head of Research to champion an ultra-lean but uniquely pivotal research function.
• Our research needs cover not just robust evaluation of the financial markets including interest rates, currencies, fixed income, equities, real estate; we also require pioneering primary research in areas of macro and micro economics relevant to our strategy.
• The most crucial requirement is mastery of the theoretical and practical underpinnings of the financial markets and a strong aptitude for both primary and secondary research as a guide to detailed Corporate, SBU and Product strategy.
• You should hold an excellent First degree (First Class or 2:1) together with a relevant Master's degree; a doctorate (Ph.D.) is a good-to-have but not a must-have.
• Prior experience in a similar role while desirable is not a per-requisite.
