Job Position: HSE Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• As a Health and Safety Officer on the project development team at Ultimus Construction, you have the opportunity to be part of a team guided by design thinking and solid execution.

Responsibilities

• You would monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations at Project Sites
• Design of safety strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect Construction workers
• Assessment of risks associated with tools and equipment, jobsites, and work environments
• Arrange for OSHA mandated testing and/or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies/consultants.
• Design of HSE training programs to provide safety awareness education for staff and site workers
• Develop HSE policies for Ultimus Construction
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of hazardous materials

Requirements

• You must have a Bachelor's Degree
• You must have a minimum of 4 years of work experience in similar role
• You should have OSHA expertise in the construction industry
• You should possess relevant OSHA certifications.
