Job Position: HSE Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

• We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, complying with relevant laws and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and standards
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections
• Identify and mitigate hazards
• Provide HSE training and awareness programs
• Investigate incidents and near-misses
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Collaborate with other departments to promote HSE best practices

Requirements

• Relevant Degree or certification in HSE, Environmental Science, or related field
• Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Ability to work independently and lead teams.
